By entering this Promotion, you accept these terms and conditions. 

1. Who is the promoter: Lush Retail Limited, a company incorporated in England with registered company number 03084750 whose registered office is at: 29 High Street, Poole, England, BH15 1AB (the “Promoter”)

2. What is the promotion: Inside eight (8) LUSH Intergalactic bath bombs across our participating UK LUSH stores (excluding Northern Ireland), there are eight (8) codes, which if redeemed in accordance with these promotion rules, allow you and one (1) guest to visit our LUSH factory in Poole (the “Promotion”).

3. Why 8 Intergalactic Bath Bombs? We are glad you asked! Eight years ago, the LUSH Intergalactic bath bomb was first released in our iconic LUSH Oxford Street store!

4. How do I participate in the promotion? If you purchase an Intergalactic Bath Bomb (( between 7th December 2023 (“Promotion Start Date”) and 31st December 2023 (“Promotion End Date”) at one of our participating UK LUSH stores (excluding Northern Ireland), you may find inside it a one-time redeemable code (“Promotion Code”).  

5. Eligible Products: This promotion only applies to the purchase of an individual Intergalactic Bath Bombs. Gift sets containing Intergalactic Bath Bombs are not included in the promotion.

6. Do I have to pay to enter? In order to participate in this Promotion, the purchase of a LUSH Intergalactic Bath Bomb in accordance with paragraph 4 and 5 of these terms and conditions above, is required to enter. There is no additional cost to participate in the Promotion or to redeem the Promotion Code. The price of the LUSH Intergalactic Bath Bomb has not been changed to reflect this Promotion. You are also welcome to purchase a LUSH Intergalactic Bath Bomb and not participate in this Promotion if you wish!

7. How to redeem a Promotion Code? 

a. If you find a Promotion Code inside your Intergalactic Bath Bomb, you can redeem the Promotion Code by:

i. contacting LUSH at: [email protected] stating the code and attaching your receipt showing your purchase of the winning Intergalactic Bath Bomb (“Proof of Purchase”) to receive the Prize (see paragraph 8 below for details about the Prize).

ii. The Promotion Code must be redeemed by 29th February 2024 (“Redemption Deadline”)

iii. Any Promotion Code redeemed after the Redemption Deadline will be disqualified.

b. Once redeemed in accordance with these Promotion Terms and Conditions, the LUSH PR team will respond to your email as soon as reasonably practicable to request the details from you and your chosen guest required to be able to book travel for the Visit Date. You must have the consent of your guest before providing their details. These details will include the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) address that you and your guest will be picked up from and returned to (this will need to be the same address); you and your guest’s full name where travel tickets are required to be booked and confirmation of any accessibility requirements that you or your guest wish to share in relation to travel.

c. The Promotion Code may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

d. The Promoter will not accept Promotion Codes or Proof of Purchase that has been altered, reconstructed, forged, tampered with in any way or that is incomplete.

8. What is the prize? The prize is one (1) visit to our LUSH factory in Poole (the “LUSH Poole Factory”), where the LUSH Intergalactic bath bomb is made in the UK! The factory visit will take place on Thursday 21st March 2024 “Visit Date”) and you may attend with one (1) guest of your choice. There is more Prize information below:

a. Where is the LUSH Factory? The Lush Factory Visit may be across multiple LUSH Factory sites in Poole. Travel between the sites will be provided.

i. 42-44 Hatch Pond Road, Poole BH17 0JZ;

ii. Unit 2, Witney Road, Nuffield Estate, Poole, BH17 0GL; and

iii. Unit A1 Fleets Corner, Poole, BH17 0HL, Green Hub, Unit M, Fleets Corner, Poole, BH17 0LA

b. What are the requirements for visiting the LUSH Poole Factory? You will be required to sign a LUSH NDA (non-disclosure agreement). This will be emailed to you before the Visit Date, so you have time to read the NDA.  Your guest will also be asked to sign an NDA if they are aged 18 years old or older. The Promoter reserves the right to deny entry to the LUSH Poole Factory for anyone who has not signed an NDA.

c. Who can be my guest? You may bring one guest with you. Please read below for guest requirements.

i. If you wish to bring a guest who is aged between 8 years old and 18 years old, you must be their parent or legal guardian. Promoter reserves the right to request proof of parental responsibility. 

ii. No guests under the age of 8 years old may attend. 

iii. Children remain the responsibility of their parents and guardians and must be appropriately supervised at all times. 

iv. You agree to take all responsibility and waive any claims of personal injury or death to any person in your party below the age of 18 for whom you have Parental responsibility or Guardianship of and any adult entrusted to your care whilst taking part in the Prize activities, to the extent permitted by law.

d. Do I have to bring a guest? No, you do not need to bring a guest if you do not want to! 

e. Is my travel included in the prize? Yes. Travel for you and one (1) guest from one UK (excluding Northern Ireland) address to the LUSH Poole Factory and return to the same UK address from the LUSH Poole Factory on the Visit Date is included. If your travel is cancelled for reasons outside of your control (for example, a train strike) Promoter will rearrange the Visit Date for you and your guest. Promoter may propose alternative dates to you for the Prize, however the Promoter reserves the right to determine the new date in its sole discretion.

f. Do I need to book my travel? No. The Promoter will book your travel and from the LUSH Poole Factory for the Visit Date. The Promoter will determine the travel arrangements in its sole discretion and the Promoter reserves the right to choose travel arrangements that minimise environmental impact as much as possible. You must provide the required details to allow the Promoter to book travel for you and your guest no later than two weeks before the Visit Date, to allow sufficient time for the Promoter to book travel for you and your guest. You are solely responsible for providing accurate information for the travel to be booked. If you provide any incorrect information and the booking is unable to be used by you or your guest, the Promoter will not be obligated to book replacement travel.

g. Will my travel be accessible? Please inform [email protected] of any accessibility requirements so appropriate travel arrangements can be made.

h. Can I choose my travel? No. The Promoter will determine the travel arrangements in its sole discretion and the Promoter reserves the right to choose travel arrangements that minimise environmental impact as much as possible.

i. Is accommodation included in the prize? Accommodation for one (1) night is included in the prize. The accommodation will be booked by the Promoter for the day before the Visit Date. The accommodation determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.   Breakfast shall be included at the accommodation.

j. Is food included in the prize? Lunch will be provided at the LUSH Poole Factory visit. Please inform [email protected] of any allergies so appropriate lunch arrangements can be made. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer. A GBP £20.00 dinner allowance will be provided for each winner and each guest. For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not choose to bring a guest, you will not receive the guest allowance.

k. What is not included in the prize? The prize does not include travel insurance, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s) and their guests.

l. What if I am not available on the Visit Date? You will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the travel in question on the Visit Date. Details once notified to the Promoter cannot be changed.

9. Do I have to pay to enter? In order to participate in this Promotion, the purchase of a LUSH Intergalactic Bath Bomb in accordance with paragraph 4 and 5 of these terms and conditions above, is all that is required to enter. There is no additional cost to enter or redeem the Promotion Code. The price of the LUSH Intergalactic Bath Bomb has not been changed to reflect this promotion. You are also very welcome to purchase a LUSH Intergalactic Bath Bomb and not participate in this promotion!

10. Which LUSH stores are participating? The UK LUSH stores (excluding Northern Ireland) which you can find a list of at: . The eight (8) Intergalactic bath bombs have been allocated across the participating LUSH stores by an independently verifiable random computer-generated process. So even our LUSH store staff do not know if one of these out of this world Intergalactic bath bombs is in their store!

11. What are the eligibility criteria? 

a. The Promotion is only open to all residents in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over, except: 

i. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;

ii. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration; or

iii. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

b. By participating in the Promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Promotion.

c. There is a limit of one Prize per Redemption Code that is redeemed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.     

12. Announcing the Winners:

a. The Promoter must send the surname and county of winners to anyone who emails [email protected] within one month after the Redemption Deadline of the Promotion.

b. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

13. The Promoter will not accept:

a. responsibility for Promotion Codes that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

b. proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of any Promotion Code or Purchase Receipt to the Promotion; or

c. responsibility for any travel to and from the LUSH Poole Factory that is missed or otherwise not taken up by you or your guest. Promoter will not re-book or pay for replacement travel arrangements in such circumstances. You and your guest are still welcome to attend the LUSH Poole Factory on the Visit Date by your own means of travel if you wish. 

14. Limitation of Liability:     

a. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner (or the guest of a winner) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

b. Whilst we will try and fulfil our obligations to run the Promotion smoothly, we will not be responsible if something happens that is beyond our reasonable control.  

15. Data Protection and Publicity: 

a. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the  See also condition 12(a) and condition 12(b) with regard to the announcement of winners.

b. There may be the opportunity to participate in photography and/or videography during LUSH Poole Factory visit (“Promotional Activities”). You are not obligated to participate in any Promotional Marketing if you do not wish to and your consent will always be obtained before this takes place. No attendees under the age of 18 will be allowed to participate in any Promotional Activities.

16. General:

a. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Promotion.

b. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

c. There is no cash alternative for the Prize. The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.

d. The decision(s) of the Promoter are final and Promoter reserves the right not to enter into detailed responses to you.  

e. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.

1.2 This Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect about you in connection with our business including the provision of our Lush UK website and our Android and iOS mobile applications and the products and services we offer, including through our website, app and any of our stores. It also sets out how and why we use personal data, who we disclose it to, and how we protect your privacy. It also sets out your rights in relation to your personal information.

1.3 It is important that you read this Privacy Notice together with any other Privacy Notice, Terms and Conditions of Sale, Terms of Use or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you, so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. 3. Who is responsible for your personal information?

3.1 We are Lush Limited, a company registered at 29 High Street, Poole, Dorset, BH15 1AB. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, we are the “data controller”. “Data controller” is a legal term used to describe the person or entity that controls the way your personal information is processed. If you have a query about the use of your personal information you may contact our Data Privacy Team by using the contact information at the end of this Privacy Notice.

3.2 By providing us with your personal information, you acknowledge the collection and use or otherwise processing (including disclosure) of your personal information in the manner and for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.

4. Data we collect from you.

4.1 Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

4.2 We limit the amount and type of personal information that we collect to that which is necessary for the purposes for which we are collecting it.

4.3 Although the precise details of the personal information collected will vary according to the specific purpose for which we are collecting the information, we may typically collect the following personal information from or in relation to you:

Identity Data includes first name, last name, title, date of birth, username or similar identifier.

Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers and Social Media handle.

Medical Data may be gathered in our spas as part of your treatment consent form. This may include information regarding existing health conditions and whether or not you are pregnant.

Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.

Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.

Profile Data includes your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback, survey responses and the content of any messaging you send using the livechat function on the website.

Recruitment Data including copies of right to work documentation, references and other information included in a CV or cover letter or as part of the application process.

Usage Data includes information about how you use our websites, products and services.

Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and additional communication preferences.

4.4 We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity, rather it is anonymous. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

4.5 We do not intentionally collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data) through our website or Apps. Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

4.6 Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

5.1 We receive personal information from you through a variety of means and channels, including through our stores, spas, mobile apps, our social media channels or through our direct selling websites. We also receive communications and personal information directly from you through a variety of means and channels, including via post, phone, social media, email and livechat via our websites.

5.2 Some examples of how you might provide us with personal information are:

  1. apply for, order and/or purchase our products or services;
  2. create an account on our websites;
  3. subscribe to our service or publications;
  4. engage with us on social media;
  5. download and install apps;
  6. request marketing to be sent to you;

When receiving a treatment from a Lush Spa we will ask you for details relating to your health in order to perform a risk assessment.

Note that we may process your personal data for more than one lawful ground depending on the specific purpose for which we are using your data. 6.2 We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to and we will never sell your data to third parties.

6.3 We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or requirement of a competent authority. In addition, we may disclose your information in order to comply with regulatory obligations such as if you have an adverse reaction to our products.

6.4 We will only use your personal information for the purpose it has been provided, as appropriate, or where the processing of your personal information is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party. We may also use this information in order to take required steps prior to entering into a contract with you, or as part of our necessary processing for legal purposes and/or legitimate business needs.  

6.5 If at any point we decide that we wish to use your personal information for any purpose other than, or in addition to, the purpose(s) listed in this Privacy Notice, or that was stated at the time your personal information was collected (or a purpose compatible with the original purpose), we will notify you. To the extent that your consent is legally required we will only proceed with such use if we receive your consent with respect to such additional purposes.

7. Sharing your personal information.

7.1 We may share your personal information within the Lush Group including Lush Manufacturing, Lush Retail, Lush Digital and Lush Limited. This might also include any third parties who buy, sell, transfer, or merge with parts of our business or our assets.

7.2 We may use other carefully selected companies, agents, or contractors (Third Parties) to perform services on our behalf or to assist us with the provision of services to you, where we have a legal basis to do so. Some examples of these are:

  1. IT companies who support our website and other business systems
  2. Operational companies such as delivery couriers.
  3. Direct marketing companies who help us manage our electronic communications with you.
  4. Data insight companies to ensure your details are up to date and accurate.
  5. For fraud management, we may share information about fraudulent or potentially fraudulent activity in our premises or systems. This may include sharing data about individuals with law enforcement bodies.
  6. We may also be required to disclose your personal data to the police or other enforcement, regulatory or Government body, in your country of origin or elsewhere, upon a valid request to do so. These requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis and take the privacy of our customers into consideration.

7.3 Where data is shared with a third party service provider, we will provide only the information they need to perform their specific services. They may only use your data for the exact purposes we specify in our contract with them. In addition, if we stop using their services, any of your data held by them will either be deleted or rendered anonymous.

7.4 We may share your personal information with third parties service providers established outside the UK and EEA, for the purposes of providing services to you or supporting our business operations. If we do transfer your personal information to these organisations, we will provide appropriate measures and controls to protect your personal information such as data transfer agreements in accordance with applicable law including use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and relevant adequacy decisions.

8. Data security.

8.1 We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. These include:

  1. Physical measures: locked filing cabinets, restriction of access to offices, and company alarm systems. 
  2. Technical tools: passwords and encryption, using industry best practices.
  3. Organizational controls: confidentiality agreements, limiting access on a need-to-know basis, staff training and security clearances.

8.2 In addition to the above, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to access that data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

8.3 We secure access to all transactional areas of our websites and apps using ‘https’ technology.

8.4 We regularly monitor our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and we carry out vulnerability testing to identify ways to further strengthen security.

8.5 We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

9. Data retention.

9.1 We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

9.2 Generally, we store your personal information for as long as necessary in order to maintain the customer relationship and to provide services to you. There are other reasons why your personal information may be retained for a longer period such as legal or regulatory reasons. However, if you opt in to receive marketing communications from us we will retain your personal information as long as necessary (for the purposes of direct marketing to you) unless you withdraw your consent to, or unsubscribe from, marketing materials. If you would like to withdraw your consent to, or unsubscribe from, marketing communications, please contact us in the manner indicated in the relevant communication.

9.3 At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.

10. Your rights.

10.1 You have the right to:

  1. Access your personal information. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
  2. Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you.
  3. Request portability of your personal information.
  4. Request restriction of processing of your personal information.
  5. Object to the processing of your personal information.
  6. Request erasure of your personal information.
  7. Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data.

Every day, millions of Lush products are made: chopped, whisked, blended, pressed, shaped, and perfected by the skilled hands of our compounders, or product chefs if you like. This handmade process makes Lush products one of a kind.

We make all of our products in our own manufacturing facilities around the globe, and much like your favourite foods, Lush products need making in careful conditions and with a lot of TLC. A combination of fresh, active ingredients, essential oils and a strict freshness policy (all products must leave the factories within 28 days of being made, other than our Seasonal ranges) means a machine just can’t give them the attention and care they need. This means we employ hundreds of compounders around the world to hand-make our products. We also proudly display their names and faces on every product’s batch sticker.

Within each department, opportunities to earn bonuses come regularly. These bonus schemes are additional to your wage, with different levels offered based on departmental goals.


Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and other hot drinks are available free of charge in the canteens to enjoy on breaks.


Shifts are based on two different types: Day Shift and Twilight Shift. Shifts are not split and don’t rotate so you can always be sure of your hours. Other Shifts are available at other times of year.
