Every day, millions of Lush products are made: chopped, whisked, blended, pressed, shaped, and perfected by the skilled hands of our compounders, or product chefs if you like. This handmade process makes Lush products one of a kind.
We make all of our products in our own manufacturing facilities around the globe, and much like your favourite foods, Lush products need making in careful conditions and with a lot of TLC. A combination of fresh, active ingredients, essential oils and a strict freshness policy (all products must leave the factories within 28 days of being made, other than our Seasonal ranges) means a machine just can’t give them the attention and care they need. This means we employ hundreds of compounders around the world to hand-make our products. We also proudly display their names and faces on every product’s batch sticker.

Manufacturing jobs
Discover a fulfilling new role! Lush Manufacturing is based in the heart of Poole. Here, we produce amazing and innovative products which are dispatched fresh to our retail stores across the world.
Hard work deserves fair pay, so Lush is proud to offer rates above the Living Wage to employees of all ages, alongside additional bonus schemes.
Within each department, opportunities to earn bonuses come regularly. These bonus schemes are additional to your wage, with different levels offered based on departmental goals.
Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and other hot drinks are available free of charge in the canteens to enjoy on breaks.
Shifts are based on two different types: Day Shift and Twilight Shift. Shifts are not split and don’t rotate so you can always be sure of your hours. Other Shifts are available at other times of year.
You’ll be getting hands-on making our wonderful range of fresh, handmade products, so don’t be afraid of getting a bit messy!

Lush Manufacturing is a fast-paced and varied working environment, which can involve lots of physical activity and being on your feet.
Our different factories can be found all across Poole, so you might get the chance to work in varied locations and departments.

Beyond making products: The Greenhub
Not only do we make beautiful cosmetics, we also create practical and environmentally friendly packaging solutions for them. Once you’re done with your black pots, we also offer a Bring It Back scheme, run by our very own Greenhub. There’s lots planned for the Greenhub in 2022, so watch this space!
