Lush Liverpool is launching an a-maze-ing Christmas Grotto Experience

From Friday 10th November until the 24th December 2023, a brand new experience, the ‘Lush Liverpool Christmas Grotto’, will take over the third floor of Lush’s largest shop in the world.

Media assets are available here.

The interactive and family-friendly experience will feature five maze-like rooms to explore, inspired by Lush favourites, including ‘Intergalactic’, ‘The Snow Fairy Kingdom’, ‘Lord of Misrule’ and, of course, ‘Santa’s Grotto’! The floor will feature different textures, colour moods and scents, and visitors will be able to experience a bath bomb product making workshop for Groovy Fairy or Intergalactic bath bomb as part of their booking – and of course, receive a gift from Santa to take home. Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite for £25 pp or £80 for a family of four*.

“Christmas is back on the high street, right in the heart of the city at Lush Liverpool. This year for the first time, a brand new exclusive and interactive Lush Christmas Grotto is landing on our third floor. Perfect for the whole family – come celebrate the spirit of the holiday season with interactive rooms, Lush characters and make your very own bath bomb as part of a new Christmas tradition. And no Christmas moment would be complete without Santa himself to wish you a Merry Lush Christmas!”

-Sandra Byrne, Senior Manager at Lush Liverpool

Lush’s first consumer facing tech product – Bath Bot, a waterproof speaker – will have a dedicated disco room before it launches in April 2024 online and in selected stores. Lush Bath Bot was invented, engineered and manufactured by the brand’s in-house Tech & Digital teams in the UK over the course of five years. When paired with Bathe on the Lush app via Bluetooth and any of Lush’s fresh, handmade bath bombs, the result is a highly personalised, sensory-transformational experience.

About Lush

Since establishing in 1995 Lush has been driven by innovation and its ethics. Creators of pioneering beauty products, one of Lush’s most well known creations is the bath bomb. Invented in 1989 by Lush Co-Founder Mo Constantine in her garden shed, bath bombs have become a global sensation – all hand pressed in Lush’s own manufacturing sites across the world, Lush sold over 40.5 million last year.

A beauty company with a campaigning heart, Lush is on a mission to create a product for every need and a cosmetic revolution to save the planet. The ultimate goal is to leave the world Lusher than we found it. Lush operates a strict policy against animal testing and leads the cosmetics industry in combating over-packaging by developing products that can be sold ‘naked’ to the consumer. Lush Digital champions ethical hardware, ethical data, ethical design and open source technologies and we support and elevate communities who feel the same.

Today, Lush operates in 48 countries with 886 shops, 38 websites shipping worldwide and a global network of native apps, broadcasting channels and digital communities in over 30 languages.
