A naked and self-preserved product
Back in 1995 when they launched, Lush provided customers with bubble bath solutions, in a liquid form. Realising quite early where it wanted to change things and revolutionise the industry by being more focused on the product itself and its benefits rather than on the packaging, they created a ‘flag in the sand’ – Naked.
Today Lush continues to look for creative solutions to make a positive impact on the planet while also including as many natural and beautifully sourced ingredients as well.
Creating solid Bubble Bars turned into an art form. You could make all sorts of shapes, all sorts of sizes, but also you didn’t need a synthetic preservative.
Bubble Bars shake up the notion of liquid bubble bath, taking many different colours and forms to create a unique experience.
Made with quality essential oils, there are numerous benefits of Bubble Bars for both the skin and mind, depending on the scent chosen.
Lush Bubble Bars are divided into two types: Bubble Bars to crumble and reusable Bubble Bars. Both can be used for multiple baths which makes them very budget-friendly.
A digital shopping experience
The #LushLabs app allows customers to watch a digital Bubble Bar demo and get all the ingredient details they need, simply by scanning the naked Bubble Bars directly from their phone. With Lush’s long term commitment to removing packaging from cosmetics, the Lush Lens feature uses the phone’s camera and Machine Learning to support the customer in shopping packaging-free with ease and ensures they get all the important product information they require in a fun and environmentally-conscious way.
The new bubble bar collection is now available online and curated ranges in shops in England and Wales from 12th April 2021.
