Launching to coincide with Lush Liverpool’s famous Christmas floor, the Book A Bath: Snow Fairy follows the success of the first Lush Book A Bath experiences which launched in April to celebrate World Bath Bomb Day. Every Book A Bath captures the essence of the bath bomb’s unique aesthetic and the luxurious bathing experience it provides.
“The Book A Baths are all about elevating the client’s bathing experience, and exploring how immersive and luxurious a bath can be – mirroring the level of care and attention you’d give if you were running a bath for a loved one. We really had a lot of fun with the creation of the Snow Fairy Book A Bath, we wanted it to be the most enchanting Christmas experience possible.
“We all know how hectic the festive period can be, you have so much to plan, organise and buy, and often have a list of people you need to see before the big day. This experience is all about making sure you add yourself to the list of people you need to dedicate time to this festive season.”
“Liverpool is the ultimate destination for those wanting to be pampered, so it was an obvious choice for us for this installation. It’s pink and sparkly which is everything that Liverpool is!” – Ruby West, Lush Spa Research and Development Support.
Book A Bath: Snow Fairy (£40) is an indulgent, self-led bathing experience offering new and existing customers the opportunity to discover Lush’s magical spa.
Guests will be invited to immerse themselves in the magic of Snow Fairy as they soak in cotton candy-coloured waters, inhale the iconic sweet scent and exhale the stresses and strains of the day.
Carefully curated with all the senses in mind, the immersive experience is paired with limited edition products including a Fresh Face Mask tailored for the guest’s skin, and ends with a silky vegan hot chocolate. The ‘Adventures In Bathing’ music has been curated in house by Lush Fresh Handmade Sound to soundtrack this multisensory experience.

The Snow Fairy Collection:
Bringing us candyfloss cheer and bubblegum sweetness for over 16 years, Snow Fairy is a festive staple for many Lush customers, and is the fresh handmade cosmetic company’s most successful range.
Beginning as a shower gel in 2005, the Snow Fairy collection has grown year on year and contains a whopping 17 items this festive season, including a body spray, candle, lip jelly and bath bomb.
In 2021, Snow Fairy even debuted on screen in a short animation bringing the magic to life in a celebration of kindness, courage and confidence. Watch The Snow Fairy animation here.
About Lush Bath Bombs:
The single layer, fast fizzing bath bomb was invented in 1989 by Mo Constantine in her garden shed. Creatively packaged, these new and exciting products turned bath time on its head. Starting with the simple ‘Aqua Sizzler’, we’ve come a long way since then. When Lush began we saw the birth of such classics as ‘Butterball’ and ‘Blackberry Bath Bomb’, simple in their construction but wonderfully effective.
Patented layered ballistics changed the way we do bathing, and classics like Twilight and Dragon’s Egg were born. Later, in 2014, Jack Constantine introduced the concept of #BathArt and opened the whole world’s eyes to the magical, colourful world of bath bombs.
Always evolving and changing, we later saw the addition of Jelly Bombs to the range in 2017 where sodium alginate softens the skin while providing a whole new texture to the bathing experience.
Social media interactions lead to the creation of Goddess in 2017, inspired by Ariana Grande’s chart topping song: ‘God is a Woman’. In 2018 we introduced fresh technology in our first waterless store in Harajuku, Tokyo followed by Lush partnering with filmmaker Pheobe Arnstein to create the film documentary: We The Bathers, inspired by bathing stories from across the world, including Japan.
Then last year, we released our latest bathing collection: Adventures in Bathing, inspiring our customers to explore bathing as a tool for accompanying their wellbeing journey. So who knows where bathing will lead us in the future? We’ve come a long way, but we’re still fresh, still handmade, and still revolutionising bathing.
