Lush launches new body spray collection featuring best-selling scents from their 30 years

This year marks 30 years of smelling the fragrant cosmetics store before seeing it … now Lush is launching five brand new, limited-edition body sprays to celebrate their fragrance catalogue. Launching in the UK & Ireland online and in store on Thursday 24th July, customers can experience their favourite Lush scents like never before, including viral sensation Super Milk.
Questioning what version of ourselves we want to be today, the new collection encourages playfulness and joy by exploring multiple fragrances from a scent wardrobe. Choosing a fragrance is a pleasure based on how we feel in the moment, but we don’t have to stick to the same fragrance every day. Enjoy a range of beautiful blends for a new experience of sensory joy with each spritz.
“Fragrance can and should be about fun, play, and finding a scent that really resonates with the wearer, and we think this new range will have a bit of something for everyone to add to their own fragrance wardrobe.
“To celebrate 30 years of filling the world with perfume, we’ve had a look through our product history at some of the key product fragrances that have been particularly loved, with each one representing a particular time of Lush.”

The new body sprays feature best-selling cult classic scents, including Karma – a Lush staple since the brand was established in 1995 and invented by Lush Co-Founder Mark Constantine, known for its distinctive earthy patchouli and uplifting orange fragrance. Also included in the collection is the scent that took the internet by storm, as Super Milk hair primer has been a fan-favourite in recent years for its deliciously comforting yet citrusy fragrance, with one sold every 30 seconds last summer.
Super Milk body spray, £32 / €40
Turn heads with this super creamy and uplifting scent, with comforting vanilla and sweet tonka to wrap you up in a sense of pure joy all day long. Pair with the Super Milk hair primer that broke the internet for a lasting citrus-gourmand impression.
In-house perfumer Emma Vincent originally created the Super Milk scent for the hair primer as part of the Lush Afro Hair Care range, designed by hair specialist and product inventor, Sarah Sango.
“The viral hair primer first launched in 2020 as part of a wider focus on afro hair care, and in recent years has really boomed to become one of our most popular products. It’s fresh and sweet with a slight creaminess, and is consistently the product scent that gets most requested in a wearable fragrance. We’re always incredibly thankful for the people who shop with us and really enjoy our products. This is for them!”

Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds body spray, £32 / €40
Sharing the same name and scent as Lush’s long-standing bubble bar of almost 20 years, this is a favourite amongst super fans! Enjoy hazy summer days ahead with this dreamy blend of patchouli and frankincense to keep your head in the clouds.
“This earthy, dreamy, nostalgic fragrance of frankincense and patchouli is taken from the solid bubble bar of the same name, originally launched in 1999. It draws inspiration from late 90’s ambient music, and laying back under warm sunshine with perfect clouds drifting above you. The bubble bar has been a staple of the range for 26 years and a firm customer favourite. We’re excited for our customers to reminisce with this body spray.”

Karma body spray, £30 / €40
30 years of Lush means 30 years of this iconic scent! Earthy patchouli, sun-filled brazilian orange and layers of crisp pine create a meditative scent to be sprayed liberally across the body for good karma.
“This was one of the perfumes we launched with in 1995, and it has remained a global best seller ever since. Inspired by early 1970’s London summers, the fragrance has gone on to be used in almost every product category we have. It felt right to release a body spray version for customers who really enjoy this warm orange and incense-laden fragrance. It represents the birth of Lush and defines our approach to perfumery.”

Strawberry Feels Forever body spray, £28 / €35
Smell like a sweet strawberry milkshake with this creamy fruity fragrance, featuring woody olibanum, floral geranium and citrusy bergamot. With a name inspired by the Beatles’ song, this scent was originally a Lush massage bar from days gone by.
“Originally a solid massage bar launched in 2009, this interpretation of strawberries and cream has been a very popular scent at Lush. It’s a fresh and light take on a fruity gourmand, with really good staying power. It captures a carefree feeling, and the original massage bar was created at a time of huge innovation in our product ranges. For this body spray, we’ve used increased levels of vanilla notes to marry with the bergamot and frankincense to make it even cosier than usual.”

Stormy Weather body spray, £28 / €35
Create a moment of calm with this airy and fresh body spray, with a brand new blend of uplifting florals, subtle herbaceous notes, and a big dose of powdery musk. Described as a refreshing, modern and effortlessly elegant scent, this fragrance is sure to be a new favourite.
“A brand new fragrance, this represents where Lush fragrance is now. Created by Emma, this airy, powdery, atmospheric fragrance is fresh and calming, with basil, neroli, rosewood and musk. There’s a softness to it when it settles on the skin, a remind that even when things around us are tumultuous, we can find the still moments in the storm.”
