At a moment in time when impulse buying may be at its highest, Lush invites visitors to drift away from the chaos of Black Friday into the most considered shopping experience this season. Embrace the world of fragrance as an essential part of your wellbeing toolkit and escape the busy streets of London through the power of scent.
Lush perfumes tell stories and evoke reactions. They are made in-house at first out of necessity but now out of love and appreciation for the artistry of fine fragrance. They are inspired by literature, music and life events. The perfumes contain beautiful essential oils and absolutes, which Lush sources from family businesses and local farmers where possible, prioritising ingredients that are lovely for the customer and beneficial to the community.
In the Scent Sanctuary, Lush will help guide customers towards the emotions they want to feel, through thoughtful Fragrance Readings and the highest quality scents. Through consultations and transportive experiences, leave feeling empowered and find your very own signature scent.
Visitors in need of a moment of self care can expect:
Meet the perfumer
On Thursday, 28th November, visitors will be able to meet Lush in-house perfumers Emma Vincent and Alina Gliwinska in the space. In a predominantly male dominated industry, Emma and Alina have created some of Lush’s most loved fragrances. Emma has created customer favourite fragrances including “Turmeric Latte” and Alina created the fragrance “Alina”, created for every generation to enjoy.
Fragrance Readings
A moment of calm and reflection to take you forward with more clarity. With this reading visitors will be able to uncover how they want to feel and Lush matches those emotions to one of their fragrances. This allows visitors to find their personal scent wardrobe with scents for the morning, during the day and even bedtime home fragrance.
Hand and Arm massages
Featuring body lotions used in Lush’s spellbinding and sensory spa treatments. Following the massage, visitors will also be offered body lotion samples so they can indulge at home, too.
Scent Shower
Wash your worries away! A shower without having to shower; this transportative booth is a truly sensory experience featuring five hero fragrances that are showcased at the event. Offering a moment of comfort, confidence, sleep, joy or groundedness, depending on how you would like to feel!
Known for their art of welcoming, the space will be hosted by Lush staff who will also provide a bespoke concierge service to navigate visitors’ needs. On certain days the Lush Spa therapists will also be in the space, offering customers the chance to take a moment to unwind with relaxing massage techniques .

Lush recently opened a new Perfume Library where visitors are invited to sit down for a consultation with Lush’s fragrance experts to find out what to add to their scent wardrobe on Beak Street in London. Soho’s Beak Street has evolved to become a hub of perfumeries over the years with Lush neighbouring Le Labo, Avestan, Byredo and Ffern and now Lush which has a long history of in-house perfumery.
Curated alongside the new perfumes are a selection of books, which are available to purchase. These are books that have inspired our Perfumers, books that have reviewed our perfumes and provide an insight into all things scent related There’s even an exclusive vegan leather jacket available which can be scented to wear with the new apparel oil.
