Lush expands viral Sticky Dates collection in time for the festive period.

Last month, in a viral video, a TikTok creator revealed their shower routine, which included Sticky Dates shower gel from Lush. Since then, Lush has produced 33 tonnes Globally (over 120,000 bottles) making it the 3rd best selling Lush product in August 2024 in the UK & Ireland.

Following the rise of gourmand scent layering, Sticky Dates body spray is having a moment. It’s Lush’s number 1 best selling product for August in the UK&I, selling 183% more than the second best seller Let The Good Times Roll.

The gourmand scent was intentional as Lush Perfumer, Emma Vincent explains:
“The fragrance was originally created as a flavour in 2021, and found success when we used it in the Sticky Dates shower gel in 2022 for the Eid collection. It quickly gained a cult following, so we began to use it in other product formats such as in a body spray and home fragrance product Butter Wouldn’t Melt Lush Melt.”

To bring even more excitement to customers, LUSH has launched a new range of Sticky Dates products into its all year round collection, available in shops and online.

I visited my local Lush store for the first time in a few years (the closest store is still kind of far for me) and I happened to come across this scent in the body wash. After smelling it, I swear I died and went straight to Lush heaven. This is my absolute favourite new scent. Period.

Butter Wouldn’t Melt Lush melt

Sweeten up your duvet days. Cosy up with this melt to bathe your home in rich, caramel warmth. Pop a square or two into your oil burner or bath and let waves of sweet vanilla and comforting sandalwood wrap you up.

Lush sources the cocoa butter used in this product from the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Sierra Leone, each of these sources are child-labour free, organic and Fair Trade.

★★★★★

I use this as a wax burner. It smells very similar to the Sticky Dates body lotion. I have used so many wax melts over the years and nothing smells as good as this or has as good as projection. It fills my whole apartment. It also has a lovely “natural” smell and doesn’t smell chemically or toxic like a lot of melts or candles…doesn’t give me a headache. – Customer testimonial
