Lush announces Teesside store and gives out 100 goodie bags on opening day
On Friday 8th December at 11 am, fresh handmade cosmetics brand Lush will open a brand new store in Teesside Park with a retail space of 104 sqm.
On the opening day, the first 100 customers will also be gifted a welcome surprise bag of products to celebrate the new store.
Shelly Hatfield will be the Lush Teesside store manager and has a lot of experience in retail. She has previously managed the Lush Middlesbrough store for 18 years:
“Teesside Park is a lovely vibrant shopping environment and a perfect match for a Lush store. I can’t wait to open the doors and welcome customers.
We love to party at Lush and I’m looking forward to creating events, workshops, gatherings and celebrations for the Teesside community. What I love most about working for Lush is that we believe in matching products to the customers needs and take the time to do that properly with tailored consultations where you can learn more and try the products before you buy them. Myself and my team can’t wait to meet lots of new customers, get to know them and show them a great time”.
Catherine Furlong, centre director at Teesside Park, said:
“Lush will be a fantastic addition to the centre, and we are looking forward to seeing the doors open to the public next month. As such a well-known and loved brand, we have no doubt that the new store will be very popular with our visitors, especially those looking for gifts for family and friends in the lead up to Christmas.”
The new store will be opening in time for Christmas for shoppers to get their hands on their favourite festive items, including the best-selling Snow Fairy collection. In the 2022 festive period, Lush sold on average one Snow Fairy product every 5 seconds in the UK!
The Lush Teesside retail experience highlights categories of iconic Lush inventions from the 1980s including the shampoo bar and the bath bomb, as well as a section with an array of ethical gifts and Knot Wraps. Services, such as bespoke Lush skincare consultations or booking a popular Lush Party will be available in the shop.
