Lokta Wraps 

Lokta paper wrap is handmade in a papermaking unit that was set up as part of a scheme to create employment for women. The Lokta plant is a regenerative fibre, as it can be re-harvested after 3-4 years, and is dip dyed in Nepal. Thanks to its strong fibre, this wrapping is perfect to reuse. 

A burst of pink and red colours inspired by the Snow Fairy collection. This Lokta Wrap has been traditionally tie dyed to create a natural, handmade pattern of stars and snowflakes.

This is the result of a New Artist group collaboration, designed by Quinza Ashraff from Venture Arts- a visual arts organisation working with learning disabled and neurodiverse artists to create and showcase exciting new contemporary visual art.
