Yorkshire mum designs Christmas Gifts for Lush that will be on sale globally
Make someone smile this festive season with a gift from Lush, as some of this year’s range has been designed locally by Georgina Mullins from Lush in York. The Lush Christmas gifts designed by Georgina are currently being sold globally in Lush shops and online.
Georgina designed two gifts from this year’s range; Jingle All The Way gift and Season’s Greetings gift. The 29-year-old is originally from Thirsk, North Yorkshire and moved to Carlisle in 2012 to study Fine Art at the University of Cumbria.
During her studies, she started working for Lush Carlisle in 2015 as a Christmas Sales Assistant where she later became a Supervisor. In 2017 Georgina moved back to Yorkshire to be closer to family, where she continued her career in Lush working for the York store. Georgina gave birth to her first daughter in 2020 and is now expecting her second next month.

Georgina’s beautiful designs are the result of Lush’s Christmas 2023 Open Call, a chance for Lush staff to share fresh ideas and celebrate artists from many different backgrounds.
“I’ve always shown more passion in VM but applied to the Open Call Christmas design on a whim and was successful. I hadn’t really used my art skills since graduating Uni in 2016 and I really enjoyed getting back into it and it’s made me want to pursue a career within art again,”

Another design of Georgina’s, Season’s Greetings gift, is a luxurious shower and body gift inspired by Christmas traditions, full of fruity ingredients we associate with the holiday season to brighten and nourish the skin.
“Season’s Greetings is inspired by a family Christmas competition that we do yearly. Every Christmas we all get a poinsettia plant, the first to bloom wins. I used watercolour to create a repeating pattern with other traditional Christmas plants and bells,”
