This special Lunar New Year exclusive collection has been created through collaboration between the Lush UK, Japan and Greater China teams.

This was designed by Cheng Peng, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Shenzhen, China. Her works especially focus on typography, illustration and poster design. She believes that graphics and colours can express herself more effectively than words.
“The inspiration for the illustration comes from Chinese paper-cutting art, which has a tradition of using paper cuts as decorations during the Chinese Lunar New Year. I altered the proportions of the snake’s head and body to give it a more modern and stylish appearance, while still retaining the decorative patterns. I used continuous and repetitive forms to enhance the aesthetic beauty of traditional decoration.” – Designer, Cheng Peng
