Lush invites Shrek fans to ‘Book A Swamp’ bathtub at Edinburgh spa

Keen bathers have a chance to embrace their inner ogres thanks to a new swamp-themed Lush x Shrek bathtub experience.

DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek fans will be able to bathe like their hero in Lush’s new ‘Book a Swamp’ spa experience, available exclusively at Lush Spa Edinburgh. 

Available now, spa-goers will be able to wallow in this immersive private bathroom themed around the movie’s iconic opening sequence, when Shrek showers in mud, brushes his teeth with goo and blows bubbles in his pond.

This one-of-a-kind spa experience is exclusively available at Lush Spa Edinburgh and is set to be the most luxurious swamp ever – complete with products from the new Lush x Shrek range. The experience is £60 and involves 30 minutes of alone time in the tub which will have been lovingly prepared beforehand by one of Lush Spa’s trained ‘swamp experts.’

Bathers can relax among the moss and trees of the swamp and enjoy a bath bridge full of Lush goodies, including the Shrek Swamp Bath Bomb, Mask of Magnaminty, a fresh cleanser, green cucumber eye pads, and an exclusive onion carriage soap not available anywhere else!

‘Book a Bath’ is all about elevating the client’s bathing experience, and exploring how immersive and luxurious a bath can be – mirroring the level of care and attention you’d give if you were running a bath for a loved one.

For one time only Edinburgh spa is having a swamp takeover… dive into a glorious mud and oakmoss seaweed bath as you bathe like Shrek. Ground yourself in nature with trees, moss and peep through the window to Shrek’s house from the tub. This is one swamp you won’t be told to ‘get out’ of!

Taking the mud bath concept to a whole new level, the bubbles in this bath are all – thankfully – caused by the Shrek Swamp Bath Bomb, launching as part of the limited-edition range.
