Celebrate kindness and joy with Lush’s festive Eid collection

Eid Mubarak! Created in collaboration with Lush’s Eid community network, Lush is launching its third Eid collection with a selection of celebratory products and a gift designed to honour the holiday and spread kindness and joy. The collection will be available from 29th February 2024 in all Lush UK&I stores and on lush.com

Reflecting the themes of Eid and Ramadan, this year’s Eid collection aims to spread joy and kindness. The 2024 Eid range consists of a brand new shower gel, a Knot Wrap and gift and was created as part of Lush’s “Co-Create” programme. This product creation internship for Lush employees aims to promote diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging by lifting up authentic stories from respective communities.

“It was a delight being in the co-create group as it gave me the opportunity to emphasise more on Lush’s ethics and introduce Ramadan and Eid with Lush scents from a Muslim perspective.”

– Khalil Taha, Member of Lush Staff Eid Focus Group

This year we are introducing a brand new shower gel called “Oudhess”, which will be launched exclusively as part of the Eid range.

“Culturally, we believe Oudh has therapeutic benefits for the soul. It has that elegant, luxurious feeling. It is a scent that men, women, and even children wear – it suits everyone! That’s why we thought it would be perfect for 2024’s Eid range. Traditionally, burning Oudh in the house and wearing it with our Eid clothes is a ritual before hosting Eid guests, our gatherings and gifting Eidya [Middle Eastern Arab tradition of gifting cash to children and family members by older relatives or family friends]. You can even smell Oudh scents within neighbourhoods, so it really makes it a nostalgic scent.”

– Romina Rezaei, Member of Lush Staff Eid Focus Group

Oudhess Shower Gel, from £10 / €12

Jump into festivities feeling fresh with this opulent shower gel. Precious and rare oudh oil brings a dark, woody aroma that blends with the heady florals of jasmine absolute and rose, while osmanthus is perfect for awakening the senses after Ramadan, with its ripe peach scent.

Shower under the moonlight and lather up suds of rich oudh and floral jasmine. Rinse and rejoice with pampered skin.

Guiding Light Knot Wrap, £15 / €17

This 100cm x 100cm reusable gift wrap is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, and is perfect for wrapping your favourite Lush products, or creating your own personalised Eid gift for a loved one.

The print was designed by Aiza Johari, a Malaysian visual designer. Of her creation, she says:

“In my artwork, I aimed to capture the joyful essence of Eid by depicting a blushing, starlit night sky embellished with decorations that draw inspiration from my home country’s traditions associated with the eagerly awaited sighting of the new moon which heralds the commencement of Eid.”

New Moon Gift, £24 / €29

Prepare for upcoming Eid celebrations with this trio of delights for bath and shower. Enjoy the opulent Oudhess shower gel, made with precious oudh oil, and rejoice at the sight of the Crescent Moon soap, both limited edition products for 2024. Finally, settle under a lavender and tonka sunset with the bestselling all-year-round Twilight bath bomb.

This gift box is decorated with artwork also created by the Malaysian visual designer Aiza Johari. With each endeavour, her artwork fuses vibrant colours with joyful interpretations of her childhood memories and surroundings.
