A New Venture into Automated Retail
Lush has opened its first ever 24 hour, automated retail experience in the covetable Coal Drops Yard at King’s Cross, London. Always open, always available, filled with fresh handmade products and created with the future of automated retail in mind.
The iLocker vending machine is designed by Anmac which is owned by world renowned couple, Andrew McAlpine and his wife Gemma Jackson. They are known as Designers of numerous of your favourite Hollywood films and series such as The Piano, The Beach, Bridget Jones Diary and Game of Thrones.
This ANMAC iLocker isn’t your average vending machine. It is a 360º retail experience, with a sustainable design that runs on a low energy output and provides an attractive display for fresh, handmade gifts.
The pop-up at Coal Drops Yard will initially run for six months, with plans for the products and design to be interchangeable creating exciting options for shoppers passing by.
Notes for Editors
About Anmac
“At ANMAC we are passionate about sustainable design and unattended retail theatre for brands and retailers who wish to offer a new shopping experience to their customers. Spearheaded by Andrew McAlpine, a designer for films such as The Beach and The Piano, it has long been his personal passion to bring a 24/7 customer-friendly retail option to forward-thinking brands, and is delighted to be partnering with Lush to achieve this dream. We hope this is the first of many ANMAC iLockers that we can bring to Lush customers globally and assist in helping to keep the High St a place of retail desire and fun shopping adventures”
