Lush product donations for charity

Lush policies

We receive many requests for product donations. Here’s how you can request some Lush products for your grassroots charity or organisation.

Donations for non-fundraising purposes

Here at Lush, we never like to see anything go to waste, in line with our freshness policy, and therefore regularly donate surplus products to various causes we hold dear to our heart.

These places include (to name a few!) homeless shelters, hospices and other groups that provide services for vulnerable people of all ages. As much as we would love to donate to everyone who gets in touch, we are limited by the amount of stock we have available. For this reason, we cannot donate items for fundraising, prizes or goodie bags.

This is because we prefer to donate money directly to causes we support through our Charity Pot body lotion. you can read all about the causes we fund here.

You can also visit your local shop and see if there is any stock they’re able to donate. Find your local shop here.

Please note that these products cannot be used for fundraising, raffle prizes, gifts or handouts for supporters, and must not be sold on.

For further information, you can email [email protected].

Service providers that support vulnerable people who have little or no access to toiletries such as homeless shelters, refuges and hospitals can apply for donations. We will also support small grassroots charity and community groups that provide wellbeing and sensory activities.

We will most frequently donate all the surplus stock we have, such as shower gels, soap, shampoo bars, bath bombs and lotions. However, all donations are subject to availability.

We aim to process the requests and have donations delivered within 10 working days.

We provide donations to organisations all over the UK with the exception of overseas aid for refugee camps and outreach.

We ask that requests are made between two-three months apart particularly at peak times such as Christmas.

We value the hard work that grassroots organisations do every day to provide support and will always do our best to help in any way we can with the toiletries we won’t sell.

If you’re not a charity, and you’re thinking about how you can give back, have a read of this article about the importance of donating toiletries.
